Haneen Khirfan is the Arabic Media Manager at DAWN. Previously, She served as Project Manager at Inside Arabia, an online magazine focused on Middle East and North African politics. 

She was a part-time instructor at SUNY Albany and a lecturer at the University of Jordan. Haneen is a Ph.D. candidate in the English department at the State University of New York at Albany working on her dissertation on the representation of women in Arabic Postcolonial Literature.
