Are you interested in joining a dynamic team working towards building a democratic landscape in the Middle East and North Africa? By working at DAWN, you can do so.

At DAWN, we offer a rewarding experience for highly motivated graduate students and recent graduates. As a volunteer or intern, you will gain practical experience related to your career interest and field of study by assisting a team of dedicated researchers and advocates on a wide range of topics, including human rights issues in the Middle East and North Africa, the rule of law, democratic governance, foreign policy, and international advocacy.

We offer opportunities in research, communication, and advocacy. Your experience at DAWN will be tailored based on your interests and skill set. You'll be matched with a supervisor who will guide you throughout the internship/volunteering experience. As an intern/volunteer, you will also have ample opportunities to network with experts and professionals in the field.

DAWN is actively seeking ambitious interns/volunteers to contribute towards our mission. We highly value proficient language skills in Arabic as well as relevant specialized knowledge.

To optimize your experience at DAWN, interns are required to commit for a minimum of 20 hours a week. Interns may also receive a stipend depending on their situation.
