Alejandra Uchitelle

Intern

Ale Uchitelle is a legal intern at DAWN. A law student at Saint Louis University, she is a founding member of SLU's National Lawyers Guild student chapter.

Following the mass arrests at Washington University's divestment encampment, she has volunteered with St. Louis' local jail support to provide legal support to arrested protesters facing charges.

She is 1 of 10 recipients of the 1843 scholarship, a 3-year full-tuition merit scholarship at SLU law. Ale is passionate about human rights and social justice in the Arab world and beyond.
