Sevan Manjikian is an intern at DAWN. She is a junior at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) majoring in Psychology and Public Affairs, and exploring her passion for international law and Middle Eastern studies.
Sevan is currently a member of Students for Justice in Palestine seeking to expose human rights violations against Palestinians. She is also involved in her local Armenian community and participates in the Armenian Youth Federation as a counselor.
Sevan is interested in how the United States government shapes its domestic and foreign policy in the Middle East, and how its superpower status is wielded in the existing global political environment.
