Alexander Langlois is Senior Editor of DAWN's Democracy in Exile journal. He is a Middle East policy analyst and Contributing Fellow at Defense Priorities. Alex has written for a wide range of media outlets and think tanks, including The Hill, Stimson Center, Center for International Policy (CIP), The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Atlantic Council, Lowey Institute, Gulf International Forum, the New Arab, Newsweek, and the National Interest.
He previously worked in the international development and humanitarian sector for the non-partisan International Republican Institute (IRI) on human rights and democracy projects in Syria and Yemen, and the Kaizen Company, a Tetra Tech company, on governance reform projects in Jordan and the West Bank.
Alex holds an M.A. in international affairs from American University's School of International Service (SIS) and a B.A. in international and Comparative Politics from Western Michigan University.
